Advice Nottingham successful in bid to run project tackling poverty and social exclusion

Advice Nottingham has been successful in its bid for just over 3 million pounds to run a new innovative project working to tackle the poverty and social exclusion faced by the most disadvantaged in D2N2 area.

Advice Nottingham have brought together agencies across the D2N2 area that will work together to achieve better outlooks for their communities.

The project will provide a programme of person centred support and a range of bespoke interventions designed to enable people experiencing financial crisis and financial hardship to take control, build confidence and improve their money management skills to tackle their problems and move out of poverty and exclusion.

Building Better Opportunities brings together funding from the Big Lottery Fund and the European Social Fund (ESF) to double the impact of lottery funding at local levels.
